These terms and conditions define the rules for participating in the “Try to Get Your Fire Starter Refunded” promotional operation offered to Ours Furtif customers.
1. Organizer
The operation is organized by:

Hereinafter referred to as “Ours Furtif” or the “Organizer”.
2. Principle of the Operation
Certain customers who have purchased an Ours Furtif Fire Starter may, after their purchase, access a dedicated page allowing them to subscribe to the Ours Furtif newsletter, receive a free digital guide and try to obtain a refund for one eligible Fire Starter.
Participation does not require any additional payment. The purchase of the Fire Starter constitutes the normal purchase of the product and not the payment of an entry fee for the operation.
The result of the participation includes a random element, in accordance with the terms described below.
3. Conditions of Participation
To participate, the participant must:
- be at least 18 years old;
- have purchased at least one eligible Ours Furtif Fire Starter;
- have a valid order number corresponding to this purchase;
- provide the information requested in the participation form;
- comply with these terms and conditions.
The purchase may have been made on the Ours Furtif website or through a sales platform covered by the operation, including Amazon, provided that the eligible product was sold by Ours Furtif / ARAUZO BROTHERS or through a sales channel officially operated by the Organizer.
Products purchased from an independent third-party reseller not participating in the operation are not eligible.
The operation may be available to customers residing in different countries, provided that participation and the granting of the relevant benefit are permitted under the regulations applicable in the participant’s place of residence.
4. One Participation per Order
Only one participation is permitted per order number.
The same order number may therefore not be used more than once to attempt to obtain multiple results, including when the order contains several Fire Starters.
The system may record order numbers that have already been used in order to prevent multiple participations.
Any attempt to circumvent this limitation may result in the cancellation of the participation.
5. Determination of the Result
For each valid participation, the system automatically and randomly determines whether the participant is entitled to a refund.
The probability of receiving a refund is set at
3% per valid participation.
Each valid participation is processed individually.
The result displayed at the end of the participation is nevertheless subject to verification of the order’s eligibility and compliance with these terms and conditions before any refund is issued.
6. Refund Amount
If the result entitles the participant to a refund, the refund applies to
one eligible Ours Furtif Fire Starter only, at the price actually paid for that unit.
If the order contains several eligible Fire Starters,
only one unit will be refunded, regardless of the number of units included in the order.
Where several eligible Fire Starters are included in the same order at different prices actually paid, the refund will apply to
the eligible unit for which the highest price was actually paid.
The refund may not exceed the amount actually paid for that unit after the application of any discounts, promotions, coupons or other price reductions.
Other products included in the order, as well as any delivery charges or other additional fees, are not refunded as part of this operation.
7. Verification and Processing of the Refund
Before issuing any refund, Ours Furtif may verify, in particular:
- the existence and validity of the order;
- the presence of an eligible Fire Starter in the order;
- the price actually paid;
- the identity of the seller or sales channel;
- the absence of any previous participation using the same order number;
- compliance with these terms and conditions.
If necessary, Ours Furtif may ask the participant to provide information or supporting documents reasonably required for this verification.
If the order was placed on Amazon, the refund may be processed using the refund tools available on Amazon.
If the order was placed directly on the Ours Furtif website, the refund will, where possible, be issued using the payment method used for the order or by any other appropriate method offered by the Organizer.
The actual time required for the refund to appear may depend on the sales platform, payment service provider or the participant’s banking institution.
8. Free Guide and Benefit for Participants Who Do Not Receive a Refund
Participants may receive a free Ours Furtif digital guide in accordance with the terms indicated on the participation page.
When a participation does not result in a refund, the participant may also receive a
15% discount code for use on the Ours Furtif website.
Unless otherwise stated when the code is provided:
- the code may be used only once;
- it has no expiration date;
- it cannot be combined with other offers or promotional codes.
The code cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
9. Newsletter
Participation through the designated form includes subscription to the Ours Furtif newsletter in accordance with the information presented on the participation page.
This newsletter may include, in particular, advice, news, product information, new products, commercial offers, promotions or benefits offered by Ours Furtif.
The participant may subsequently unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in the emails received.
10. Fraud and Misuse
Ours Furtif reserves the right to refuse or cancel a participation in particular in the event of:
- a non-existent, invalid or previously used order number;
- an order containing no eligible product;
- an attempt to participate multiple times using the same order;
- the use of false or clearly incorrect information;
- manipulation or attempted manipulation of the form or participation mechanism;
- automated or abusive use of the service;
- fraud or attempted fraud.
An obvious technical error or a result obtained through manipulation of the system cannot create an entitlement to a refund.
However, this provision does not allow the Organizer to arbitrarily cancel a valid participation that has legitimately resulted in entitlement to a refund.
11. Availability and Technical Incidents
Ours Furtif takes reasonable measures to ensure the proper functioning of the page and participation mechanism.
In the event of a technical malfunction, temporary unavailability, maintenance, an issue affecting an external service provider or an event beyond its control, the Organizer may temporarily suspend access to the operation while normal operation is restored.
Where a valid result has already been obtained and recorded before such an incident occurs, it remains subject to these terms and conditions and to the normal verification of the order’s eligibility.
12. Duration of the Operation
The operation is offered for an indefinite period and remains available for as long as the corresponding participation form or page is accessible.
Ours Furtif may modify, suspend or terminate the operation for the future.
Any such modification or termination will not affect the right to a refund of a participant who, before it takes effect, obtained a valid result entitling them to a refund and who meets these terms and conditions.
13. Personal Data
Data provided as part of the operation may be used, in particular, to:
- manage participations;
- verify the eligibility of orders;
- prevent multiple or fraudulent participations;
- provide refunds and other benefits;
- manage newsletter subscriptions and related communications;
- process any requests or complaints.

Ours Furtif does not sell participants’ contact details to third parties.
14. Liability
The operation does not affect the rights available to customers in connection with their purchase, including applicable statutory warranties and, where applicable, the right of withdrawal.
Any refund obtained as part of this operation constitutes a promotional benefit separate from these rights.
The Organizer shall not be held liable for delays or malfunctions attributable to a sales platform, payment service provider, email service provider or any other third-party service beyond its control, without prejudice to the participant’s statutory rights.
15. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Ours Furtif may modify these terms and conditions, in particular to reflect changes to the operation, its technical arrangements or applicable regulations.
The version applicable to a participation is the version available at the time of that participation.
Subsequent changes may not affect a refund legitimately obtained before those changes take effect.
16. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Participation in the operation implies that the participant has read and accepted these terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions are accessible from the participation page and may be reviewed before submitting the form.
